Orcland is a seperate custom zone developed for levels 40 plus which is the required level to access the zone. The old Crescent reach port base in the PoK was used to create the zone-in for it. Once inside, there is a zone line to run across which will send you right back to the PoK.
Mobs to encounter
It's not hard to guess what you will find there. Several orc camps, consisting of wizards, warriors, shamans and cleric orcs. The orcs average level 35 to 49 as you go deeper into the zone.
Guard Huts
At a few locations, you will find friendly guards hanging out. They can come in handy sometimes, if you get into trouble. Just train the mobs to them and thy will handle it.
Orticia
Orticia is someone you can benefit from when you need to get rid of aggro, without having to zone out. You just very simply run up to her, getting close enough and she will sense the aggro and get rid of it for you. This is providing you can make it to her, before the orcs stop you.
The Captain
The orc Captain is your end goal, if you want to gain access to the Orcs Lair. To get him to spawn, his PH's are either an orc orphan or an orc roamer. They have a 10 minute spawn timer and the Captain has a 5 percent chance of popping in their place. You will find the ph's wandering up and down the zone, but they depop as well.
Getting Flagged
Upon the Captain's death, the Spirit of Hong will pop. Players need to hail the spirit to get flagged for access to Orc's Lair. But you cannot enter the Lair until level 45. DO NOT hail the spirit more than once and DO NOT attack any guards, or you will lose the flag and have to do the Captain again. The spirit depops after 1 minute.
Throughout Orcland you will find a variety of custom gear and spell drops from the orcs.
These are items for all classes, involving plate, leather, silk and chain pieces for various slots in your inventory. The gear is fully tradeable and can be sold to vendors. They have a required level of 40 with stats that are more feasible for your level, until you can work your way into Orc's Lair after level 45. It's recommended that you hunt for as much gear in Orcland, before you enter the Lair where you will find better gear.
